Using primary respiration, the student will have the opportunity to learn:
1. How to treat long fascial relationships.
2. How to read the body for specific information.
3. How to test for and treat shock.
4. How to palpate multiple centers in the brain to treat inflammation.
5. How to palpate the cerebellum and use it to detect Still’s dynamo.
6. How to detect and treat arachnoid adhesions obstructing CSF.
R. Paul Lee, DO, FAAO, FCA, is a well-known educator, author and practitioner in the field of cranial osteopathy. Dr. Lee has practiced at the Osteopathic Center of The Four Corners in Durango, Colorado, since 1991. He has taught a variety of courses for the Osteopathic Cranial Academy since the 1990s.
In 2005, he published Interface: Mechanisms of Spirit in Osteopathy which synthesizes current scientific understanding to explain the mechanisms by which body, mind and spirit interconnect. Following publication of the book, he was invited to teach in Toronto and then in Germany, The Netherlands and Belgium. Through 2018, he continued to teach his material to colleagues in Europe, Canada, Japan and Australia/New Zealand. He delivered the 2006 Rollin Becker Memorial Lecture to the Sutherland Cranial College, and presented the 2013 Sutherland Memorial Lecture to the Osteopathic Cranial Academy.
